I hope you are all ready for a Disney filled insanely fun weekend starting tomorrow night!! Our Special Events Chair, Lyssa Bergstrom and her committee has worked very very hard to make this upcoming weekend a complete success! I hope to meet all of you there, and do some awesome service with you!!
We have changed some things up this year, specifically when it comes to fundraisers! Everyone should bring lots of extra money because there will be a penny war, ice cream social, miss universe, and the mascot auction; with all the proceeds of all of these events going right to camp!! For the penny war we will be collecting any kind of money and then the people with the most money collected will have to go down a slip and slide with gross stuff on it, and then get pied, and do a mystery task. The next highest amount collected will just have to do the slip and slide and pieing. Then those that collect the lowest amount will just have to get pied! There are some Kiwanians in on this also, so be sure to bring lots of money to see them get pied! Then the ice cream social will be $2.00 for ice cream and then $0.50 per topping!! Miss Universe will be $2.00 a person, and then the auction is whatever you want to bid!!
I really hope you are all as excited as I am about this weekend, it should be a great weekend filled with camping, service and friends! What more could you ask for?!? See you all then!!
