Large Scale Service Project is only 58 days away, and today is the last day you can register at a low price!! This is an event that you are not going to want to miss!! I mean how could you resist 3 whole days of service, and a day of fellowship?!? It is also a great time to get to know other people in our district, or even other Circle K'ers from other districts! Here are 10 facts from the LSSP chair about this years event:
1. Sunday's projects include working in St. Louis community gardens and painting a mural on a tunnel for a children's medical center.
2. Monday's projects include painting, landscaping, dusting, cleaning, moving, sorting, filing, and etc at a 19 acre Boys and Girls Club.
3. Tuesday's projects include landscaping around the St. Louis Arch, participating in an End-of-Summer bash with children, and more!
4. There will be nightly in-house service projects with EACH of the CKI Service Partners.
5. Hot breakfasts and lunches are included in the registration cost.
6. A confirmation newsletter will be sent to all registrants.
7. Attendees will be rooming with at LEAST one person from their home clubs/districts.
8. There will be nightly sessions of Fellowship as well as a fun-filled Fellowship Day on Wednesday, August 4th.
9. Registration will go up to $220 after June 1st!
10. It will be TONS of fun! =]
International Convention immediately follows LSSP!! This is an event full of caucusing, voting, workshops and fun! You will not want to miss this, it gives you a great way to get to know exactly the size and extent of Circle K International!! Register today!!
