Hello Everyone,
Well we finally made it to Sheboygan Falls, WI!!!! YAY!! The weather was actually really really good, it was a little hot but the sun was out and no rain!! We ended up riding about 10 and a half hours which equals a lot of miles, with lots of wrong turns! Who would have known following trails could be so difficult. Especially Oakleaf Trail in Milwaukee, it was very hard to follow that trail because unlike most trails that just go one way or the other this trail had many many different turns you could make! But we made it through! We met a lot of interesting folks along the way also, including a man that straps his dogs into the back of the bike that you would usually put small children in, another very nice man that helped us find where one of the trails went, and we even seen a Kiwanis shelter!!!!! We also ended up seeing a rabbit and 2 deer which was very cool!
My dad drove the truck with water and such in it, and was on call for when we got lost and needed his awesome map reading skills to get us back on track! My sister rode the entire thing with me and I couldn't have done it without her, she was the super good support and a nice little cheerleader towards the end there when I was having a little melt down and wanting to get to the final destination!
I am feeling pretty good, toward the end my knees and back really started to hurt, but nothing a little stretching can't fix! My legs feel pretty good, but that might be because today's ride was fairly flat! We shall see how I feel tomorrow morning when I get back on to make the long journey to stop number 2... Green Bay!! For now we are off to eat dinner and then a little hot tub time to relax the muscles!! Thank you everyone for your support on facebook it really really helped me get through the day, especially towards the end to know how many people are behind me on this!!
